NASFM is involved in a variety of Energy and Transportation projects for the U.S. Department of Transportation.  These projects include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating cooperation between Emergency Responders and the pipeline industry in helping to identify High Consequence Areas located near pipelines
  • Helping educate the fire service on current pipeline safety regulations
  • Equipping local fire safety officials to contribute objectively to the safe location and operation of LNG terminals and tankers
  • Development of Alternative Fuel Emergency Response Training (for more info visit: www.nasfmhydrogen.com)

For more information on NASFM's Safe Energy and Transportation Programs please visit: www.safepipelines.org.
